09-Oct-2009 Comin Thai has successfully accomplished last March M&E works for a mock-up at the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in Phuket Island. Belonging to the Taj Hotel & Resort chain (Indian Tata Group), Taj Exotica houses consists in a 36 sqm main room, a 27sqm bathroom
and an entrance; also outside there is a 30sqm terrace as well as a private quarter round shape swimming pool. Comin Thai’s scope of works included the installation of AC in the rooms and bathrooms, the swimming pool treatment with salt, the cold water and warm water supply, the evacuation systems and all the electrical installations, low voltage, MATV, fire alarm, telephone system and external lighting. Also, a technical room has been dedicated for the M&E located under the house.
This mock-up is part of a future project starting in 2010 with 150 houses for rent or sell with other facilities including a Spa, reception area, restaurant…
Conrad Koh Samui Resort & Spa (Thailand)
09-Oct-2009 Scheduled to open in April 2010, Conrad Koh Samui Resort and Spa (Hilton Group) will be the newest luxury villa property in South of Thailand with 100 Luxurious Villas, Restaurant and Spa. Comin Thai has been following the project and bidding process since April 2008. The M&E design has been prepared by EEC Lincoln Scott in Bangkok and the Main Contractor - the Australian Leighton was appointed in August. Under the Supervision of Francois Rocher (Branch Director), Comin Thai is undertaking all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering work for this Five Star Hotel which include the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Power Generation, HV/LV Substation, Electrical Distribution, LLV (fire alarm, PABX, data), Air Conditioning & Ventilation, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Waste Water Treatment and Swimming Pool.
